A 19-year-old Belgian woman on a solo journey around the world in an ultralight aircraft is scheduled to land in Goose Bay this evening where she will be welcomed with a special reception.
Zara Rutherford departed Narsasuaq, Greenland earlier today and is scheduled to land in Goose Bay around 6:00 this evening.

Rutherford departed Belgium last Wednesday with stops in the UK, Iceland and Greenland where she ran into some delays caused by the unusually mild weather.
She’s hoping to become the youngest woman to ever fly solo around the world.
