The province’s vaccination rates continue to climb.
As of today, over 72 per cent of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians eligible have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Just over 85 per cent have received at least one shot.
There are an approximate 483,400 people aged 12 and older who are considered eligible to be vaccinated. As of the last update, 764,814 doses had been administered, with over 414,000 people vaccinated with at least one dose.
In its plan titled ‘Together. Again.‘, the provincial government hoped to see at least 80 per cent of the population vaccinated with two doses by mid-September.
