Federal Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole spent some time in Corner Brook today, campaigning with area candidate Carol Anstey.
It could be an indicator of a possible race developing in the riding of Long Range Mountains, currently held by Liberal Gudie Hutchings.
At the Glynmill Inn, O’Toole today announced his plan to increase EI benefits for seriously ill workers from 26 to 52 weeks.
The Conservative leader’s next stop is North Sydney, Nova Scotia this evening.
O’Toole joked on the VOCM Morning Show about getting acquainted with Corner Brook’s famous steep hills having “paid the price” in his morning run.
