Public Health is advising of additional possible COVID-19 exposure sites connected to a case in the Western Health region.

They are asking anyone who entered Veitch’s Ultramar and Service Station at 14 Confederation Drive in Corner Brook on the following dates to arrange for COVID-19 testing.

Tuesday, August 17 – Friday, August 20, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

Monday, August 23 – Tuesday, August 24, from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. each day.

Wednesday, August 25 – Thursday, August 26, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

Friday, August 27, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In addition, anyone who visited Jungle Jim’s on 41 Maple Valley Road in Corner Brook on August 25th, between 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. is also asked to arrange for testing.

Anyone who visited the locations and is currently experiencing symptoms is asked to isolate until 24 hours after their symptoms subside and they receive a negative COVID-19 test.

Those who visited but are not symptomatic do not need to isolate until they receive a negative test, but should monitor for symptoms.
