An 18-year-old man from Corner Brook is facing numerous charges of fraud stemming from thefts in the west coast city last month.
The thefts occurred in mid-August.
According to the RNC, unlocked vehicles were targeted and items such as credit and debit cards were stolen.
Unauthorized transactions were then completed using the stolen cards, with the culprit bypassing security pin codes by using the tap option.
On Saturday, an 18-year-old man was arrested and charged with 11 counts of fraud under $5,000, 6 breaches of a court order, and 6 counts of possession of stolen property.
As the investigation continues, police say more charges are anticipated.
The man is scheduled to appear in provincial court in Corner Brook in December.
