COVID-19 has claimed another life Newfoundland and Labrador.
The province is reporting another death related to the virus, the 17th recorded since the beginning of the pandemic. The victim is a man in the Central region who was over the age of 70.
Two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in the province today. Both are in the Central Health region.
There are 31 active cases in the province including one person in hospital.
