Changes are coming in the new year to the town of Grand Falls-Windsor’s garbage, refuse, and recycling regulations.

There are several key differences from what is currently in place.

All items must be placed in suitable rigid garbage or recycling bins with secure lids, netting and tarps.

Other methods will no longer be accepted.

Garbage will be collected from approved multi-unit properties up to and including four units, provided they meet certain criteria.

Garbage and refuse will not be collected on private roads.
