It’s going to be a snowy Tuesday in parts of Labrador. Environment Canada has a snowfall warning out for Upper Lake Melville beginning overnight with a few centimetres but by the time it’s all over tomorrow, some 25 cm could be on the ground.
The area hasn’t had a lot of snow so far this season.
In southern Labrador, meteorologist Justin Boudreau says it will begin as snow and then change over to rain with between 40 to 50 mm expected.
One area could also see a fair bit of freezing rain.
The Eagle River area—located on the Trans Labrador Highway between Goose Bay and Cartwright—could be in for 4 to 8 hours of freezing rain.
