A local advertising agency is holding its annual diaper drop.
WaterWerks Agency’s 12th annual Diaper Drop is underway with the group collecting diapers for less fortunate families in the province, which will distributed by the Community Food Sharing Association.
Steve Tessier, a partner at WaterWerks, says they have collected over 600,000 diapers over the years and there is a huge need in the province.

He says people have to sometimes make the choice between buying food or diapers. He says they’ve heard stories of parents without access to clean diapers having to reuse disposable diapers.
Tessier says many people have leftover diapers from their own kids that they can donate.
He says if you have a child that has outgrown one size of diaper into another size, they’ll gladly take the leftovers.
Donations can be dropped off at their location on Lemarchant Road, or by contacting WaterWerks by email at steve@waterwerks.agency or by phone at 738-5090.
