A fire advisory on the Northeast Avalon is now lifted.
A ban on all permits for open fires was implemented across the entire region last week due to the risk of a forest fire.
Those restrictions have now lifted, however, open fires will still be permitted in St. John’s, Mount Pearl, and Paradise.
