Police have made another arrest in connection with the ongoing investigation into a shooting in the Goulds Sunday night.

The RNC picked up 22-year-old Thomas Barnes in Paradise yesterday.

He appeared in court today on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm in a vehicle, and assault with a weapon.

Barnes was remanded in custody pending a bail hearing on Thursday.

Twenty-year-old Brandon Chafe was arrested Sunday night following the incident which sent a 21-year-old man to hospital with a gunshot wound.

Chafe remains in custody pending his next court date on July 4.

Police have made an appeal for any video from the area of Bidgood’s Plaza, Pipeline Road and Petty Harbour Road around 8 p.m. Sunday night.
