Deer Lake RCMP are warning of some suspicious activity reported in the town in recent days.

Police received a report from a teenage girl who was approached at a local coffee shop on Wednesday by a man and woman who are believed to be French.

The unknown woman approached one of a group of teens, and indicated that she had a model agency and was recruiting models.

The woman then exchanged phone numbers with the teen.

The woman is described as in her mid 40s, tall and slender with long reddish-brown hair and wearing an orange motorcycle jacket.

The man is described as in his late 50s with a salt and pepper goatee and black hair that was slicked back.

Both the man and woman were wearing motorcycle gear and were traveling on an orange sport motorcycle.

The RCMP are interested in speaking with the couple to determine their intentions and ask residents to report any suspicious activity. They’re also reminding parents to speaks with their children to determine if they might also have been approached by the pair.
