Heat warnings have been expanded to include virtually the entire island with only the western and southern strips being spared.

Temperatures will be around 30 degrees but humidex values will range from the high thirties to the low forties.

The southeastern part of Labrador is also included in the advisory.

The warm air mass will continue to blanket parts of the island tomorrow and through the weekend.
