The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has responded to numerous reports of pets being left in vehicles in Corner Brook.
Temperatures in the region were in the upper 20s yesterday.
The Constabulary is reminding people to leave their pets in cool spaces at home as the hot summer weather can create life-threatening conditions for them inside cars.
RNC patrol officers have responded to multiple reports of dogs left in parked vehicles in Corner Brook today.
