The St. John’s Capitals are the provincial Senior A Men’s baseball champions.
The Caps scored four runs in the top of the seventh to overcome a 6-3 deficit and beat CBS for the title, winning the series 3-1.
St. John’s took a quick 2-0 lead in the top of the first, thanks to a two-run homer by Jacob Reid. CBS bounced back with 3 runs in the third, and built up a three-run lead before letting it slip away in the seventh.
Reid was named the MVP of the series, while Gerald Butt of CBS was the top batter. Aaron Peach was named the best pitcher.
