The battle for the province’s storied and historic senior hockey championship starts this weekend.
The Herder Memorial finals kick off at the C.B.S. Arena on Friday night between the St. John’s Capitals and the Deer Lake Red Wings.
The Herder Memorial Trophy was first presented in 1935 on behalf of The Evening Telegram to honour the Herder family who founded the paper in 1879.
General admission tickets for the finals are $26, including taxes, and $14 for kids 12 and under.
