A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged following a disturbance at a business in the east end of St. John’s last night.
Police responded to a report of a wanted person who had robbed the business at around 10:30 p.m..
Officers spoke to security who identified the 40-year-old man.
He was arrested on three outstanding warrants and was additionally charged with theft, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, obstruction of justice and breach of probation.
He was held for court.
