The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is advising drivers that a section of Highway 460 on the Port au Port Peninsula is closed due to severe flooding and road washouts.
The highway between Marches Point to De Grau is closed in both directions.
Department officials, engineers and contractors are on site today to asses the damage, make repairs and find alternate routes for drivers.
Those driving in the area are asked to use extreme caution.
