The Newfound Talent Finale is coming up next Thursday showcasing some of the best young musicians across the province.
The Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Arts Society is hosting the event on June 27 at the Majestic Theatre.
Diana Daly, the executive director of the Folk Arts Society and Rosemary Lawton, the Youth Program Coordinator, says it is a great opportunity for young people to get on-stage experience and kick start their music career.

Daly says it is a music first, performance second event. It’s not only about getting the on-stage experience, she says, but it’s also a platform for young musicians to show their enthusiasms and love in their music.
Tickets are free and the winner will received over $6000 worth of prizes to help start their music career.
