‘Tis the season for festivals which attract people in droves, but the RNC warn that large gatherings can also present an increased risk of criminal activity.
RNC Constable James Cadigan says parking lots filled with cars can be an attractive opportunity for thieves to snoop around.
Cadigan says it’s a good idea to lock your doors and take all valuables with you. If you have to leave any items behind, he suggests keeping things out of sight.
He says it’s not a bad idea to poke things away under the seat or in the trunk if you’re unable to take it with you.
