The Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs has a new boss.
Carolyn Wakeham has taken over as the new CEO after sitting on the NLOWE board for the past three years.
“My vision is to build on this incredible legacy, ensuring that NLOWE remains a catalyst for growth, inclusivity, and prosperity. Together, with the support of our members and partners, we will continue to break barriers and shape an economy that values the contributions of women entrepreneurs,” said Wakeham.
Wakeham noted women in business contribute to the economy in significant ways.
She started her role earlier this month.
