A new RCMP detachment building was officially opened yesterday in Marystown.
The $12 million dollar facility was built through a cost-shared agreement between the provincial (70 per cent) and federal (30 per cent) governments.
The new detachment building replaces the former 40-year-old structure in Marystown which no longer meets RCMP standards.
