Two people are spending some time at the lockup following two separate disturbances at homes in the metro region on Sunday.

During the supper hour, the RNC were called to a home in the west end. Just as they were pulling in, a vehicle was pulling out. Police arrested a 52-year-old man on charges of having a weapon for a dangerous purpose and concealing same. He was also charged with breaching a release order.

In Conception Bay South, officers arrested a man after a woman was assaulted. That incident happened at about midnight. The 27-year-old suspect was arrested and placed in custody.
