Metro police hit the nail on the head in arresting a man at a home in the west end last night.
Police were called about a man threatening others at the home just before 10 p.m. When officers showed up, they were greeted by a man waving a hammer at them.
After speaking with officers, the 39-year-old eventually dropped the hammer and was taken into custody.
He’s facing charges of uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of release order.
He was held for court.
