Human remains have been found in St. John’s, and while the identity of the person is unknown, it is believed to be a male. There is no risk to the public as the death is not believed to be suspicious.
The remains were found near the Three Pond Barrens trail in the general vicinity of Pippy Park.
Police and paramedics were first called out to the site Wednesday afternoon.
The chief medical examiner and Memorial University Anthropology Department are doing an analysis.
