There were no injuries after a boat capsized on Julienne Lake in Labrador West last night.
An RNC officer with the help of some bystanders, helped to locate and rescue the pair after they were able to make their way to shore and issue an SOS from a mobile device around 8:15 last night.
A private boat was launched with the police officer on board, and the missing boaters were located after they started a fire to warm up.
Members of the local fire department, paramedics and the Labrador West Search and Rescue assessed the pair who were cold and wet, but otherwise unhurt.
