The NL Liquor Corporation has sold some $1.7 million dollars worth of U.S. product since it went back on shelves last week.
NLC says some products are selling faster than others, and they’re still in the process of distributing product stored in their warehouse since last winter to their stores and Liquor Express locations.
Total net profits donated to the Community Food Sharing Association are estimated to be up to $1 million, and a donation of $500,000 has already been made to help with the supply and distribution of food to food banks across the province.
