Nicolás Maduro has pleaded not guilty to narco-terrorism charges laid against him by the United States, defiantly declaring in a New York courtroom today that he is “still president” of Venezuela.
Neither Maduro, nor his wife Cilia Flores will seek bail at this time. Their next court appearance is March 17th.
In the meantime, U.S. President Donald Trump says the United States is “in charge” in Venezuela
