Energy NL is mourning the loss of a former CEO.
Bob Cadigan passed away on Monday at the age of 67.
Cadigan served as the CEO of the organization from 2008 to 2017 when it was previously known as Noia.
Current CEO Charlene Johnson says Cadigan had the “courage of his convictions” and was not afraid to take a firm stance to improve the industry and its members.
She says Cadigan also had the “foresight to see opportunities” to export local expertise to emerging global markets and expand the NL supply and service sector’s international reach.
Johnson says Cadigan led Noia through challenging times in the offshore sector and will be remembered for his dedication and passion.
Cadigan also served on the Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove town council.
Donations in his memory are being accepted for esophageal cancer research through the Canadian Cancer Society by using the drop-down menu.
