Both Canada’s men’s and women’s curling teams will live to see another day after booking wins yesterday at the Olympics in Italy.
Canadian Skip Brad Jacobs used hammer in the 11th end to win the match 5-4 against Norway in the semi-finals.
Canada will face Great Britain tomorrow for the gold medal.
Meanwhile Rachel Homan took down South Korea 10-7, earning them a semi-final date against Sweden later today.
That game gets underway just after 9:30 island time.
In Hockey, after an OT win against Chechia earlier this week, the men’s hockey team will face Finland in the semi-finals.
Puck drop is just after noon today.
Canada’s women’s team took a 2-1 loss in overtime yesterday to the United States – taking home the silver medal.
