Two women and a man have been arrested on the west coast and charged with the theft and fraudulent use of another person’s credit card.

Bay St. George RCMP say a purse was stolen outside a grocery store in Stephenville on Saturday, and that a credit card had been used at a retail shop on Queen Street. Video surveillance shows three people using the victim’s card, and leaving the scene in a taxi.

RCMP picked up three people at a residence on Gallant Street. Archibald Billard, who’s 37, and 31-year-old Samantha Cornect face numerous charges. Another suspect, a 34-year-old woman who police did not name, was released to appear next month.
