Three people have been charged after police seized drugs and cash from a vehicle in St. John’s.
Last Friday, the RNC pulled over a vehicle reported stolen the day before on Prince of Wales Street in St. John’s.
Police say a search of the vehicle turned up a number of items including 1,125 grams of suspected cocaine, 73 grams of suspected crack cocaine, suspected Ritalin pills, digital scales, cash, and a knife.
Now, three people are facing a number of charges.
Eighteen-year-old Kameron Harris has been charged with possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and breaches; 35-year-old Taylor Mason has been charged with possessing property obtained by crime and breaches, and 42-year-old Jennifer McDonald has been charged with possessing property obtained by crime and obstruction.
Drug charges are pending against the two men.
