We’re back into a deep freeze in much of the province after a light to moderate snow fall yesterday.
Temperatures plummeted on the west coast last night, and will drop like a rock on the rest of the island throughout the day according to meteorologist David Neil of the Gander Weather Office.
Temperatures will be in the minus teens and wind chills in the minus twenties for mot but minus thirties on the northern Peninsula.
The mercury drops into the minus thirties tonight in some areas of Labrador.
