The Speaker had to name a number of members during a heated debate in the House of Assembly this afternoon.
Opposition energy critic Fred Hutton raised concerns previously brought up by the mayor of Labrador West about power needs in the region should the MOU collapse.
Hutton took a jab by referencing comments by former premier Danny Williams who took credit for killing the Churchill Falls MOU.
That raised the ire of Energy Minister Lloyd Parrott.
“What is your plan to deliver more power to Labrador West as the MOU with Hydro Quebec, intended to do just that, moves closer to collapse, or are we waiting for the real premier to say in public that the deal is already dead?” Hutton asked.
“Shame on you,” Parrott fired back, “this is the real premier” he said gesturing toward Tony Wakeham.
