The IWK Foundation is launching a women’s health experience survey in Newfoundland and Labrador to provide the first Atlantic-wide view of women’s health.
The foundation is inviting women across Newfoundland and Labrador to participate in the survey to better understand women’s health experiences.
Launched on Thursday, it follows an unprecedented response in 2025 from a similar survey conducted in the Maritime Provinces where more than 25,000 women responded.
With a focus on experiences with health-care, health knowledge, menopause and other factors, the findings will help inform future conversations about women’s health priorities and services in Atlantic Canada.
IWK believes it will require collaboration among government, health care organizations, and citizens to address the barriers that some women face.
