A St. John’s high school student has been selected to participate in the 2026 Beaverbrook Vimy Prize – a program designed to bring students from Canada, France, England and Germany together to explore the history and legacy of the First and Second World Wars.
Nicholas Abrard will join other participants for a trip through France and Belgium from July 31st to August 10th and meet with historians and educators to gain a deeper understanding of the significance of remembrance, reconciliation and responsible citizenship.
