RCMP are conducting an operation in Happy Valley-Goose Bay this hour in the area of Winsor Drive and Adams Loop.
Police say there is no risk to public safety, however residents and drivers are being asked to avoid the area to allow officers to do their work.
RCMP are asking that people not share information, photographs or videos of police movements online.
