The provincial government is seeking expressions of interest for the possible divestment and future development of the idle Buchans Generating Facility.
The power plant, which has not been in operation since 2014, is owned by NL Hydro.
In June government announced its intention to seek out interest in the 1.8 MW facility.
The department is hoping to attract proposals outlining potential uses for the facility, and plans for its long-term operation and development.
The deadline for submissions is October 20th.
