An eyesore on Mundy Pond Road is finally being demolished.

The property has long been a concern to area residents, even before a fire nearly destroyed the home in March.

City council previously agreed to have the property leveled, but there was no movement until today.

Crews were at the scene this morning tearing down what remains of the structure.
