Fire investigators are probing the scene of a house fire early yesterday morning that sent two people to hospital with burns and smoke inhalation.
The two injured adults were in the main floor of a two unit bungalow on Newfoundland Drive.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 1:40 Sunday morning to find heavy black smoke and flame pouring from the house.
Three people, two adults and a 15-year-old girl, were living in the downstairs apartment and escaped without injury. The Canadian Red Cross has provided them with emergency shelter and personal items.
