Two companies based out of Newfoundland and Labrador have won awards at the Atlantic Canada Craft Awards for Excellence, in Halifax.

Dark Tickle Company was recognized with the Outstanding Exporter Award, and JACOBEAN Craft Chocolate received the award for Excellence in Product Design.

The Outstanding Exporter Award is given based on an exporting achievement outside of Atlantic Canada.

JACOBEAN Craft Chocolate received its award for outstanding quality and creativity in the design of its products.

Bernard Davis, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Innovation says that the craft industry is driven by creative entrepreneurs like the Dark Tickle Company and JACOBEAN Craft Chocolate.
