A pilot project announced earlier this year to help provide Metrobus and GoBus passes to those on income support is finally going ahead.
The program was supposed to have started in April but was postponed due to the pandemic.
Passes will be ready for distribution to some 10,000 income support recipients in the metro region this September.
The passes will be sent out by mail and will come with information packages on how to activate them.
