A portion of Pitts Memorial was closed to traffic early Tuesday afternoon following a serious collision in the area of Southlands Boulevard.
Crews responded to the scene after a vehicle reportedly left the road in the area of the overpass, landing in the road’s median.
Ambulances responded to the area, along with officers from the RNC. The extent of injury is currently unknown.
The road was closed to traffic for some time, and drivers were advised to avoid the area as crews attended the scene.
