RCMP in Grand Falls-Windsor are investigating the theft of a fifth wheel camper from a gravel pit just off the TCH.
The 2002 Fleetwood Wilderness fifth wheel camper was taken sometime on July 30th, but it appears as though the thieves ran into trouble and it was found abandoned in the middle of the Trans-Canada Highway near the Norris Arm turnoff around 11:30 that evening.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
