A man from the Burin Peninsula has been charged with attempted murder after shots were fired into a home in Garnish on Friday.
Forty-eight-year-old Christopher Brenton also faces two counts of uttering threats and numerous firearms charges.
RCMP were called at about 6:30 Friday evening and arrested Brenton later that night. He spent the weekend in jail before making a court appearance today.
Numerous components of the RCMP were in on the investigation including the underwater recovery team.
