A report of a man breaking into vehicles in St. John’s on Sunday afternoon led to the arrest of a 32-year-old wanted man.
Around 4 p.m., Police responded to reports of a man breaking into vehicles in the area of Pennywell road.
While investigating the complaint, they located a man, already known to police, who was wanted on a pre-existing arrest warrant.
The man was arrested with additional charges of failing to appear in court and breaching court orders.
He was held for court.
