Budget is Furey’s “Campaign Document”: Crosbie

Opposition Leader Ches Crosbie says Premier Andrew Furey promised a budget would be presented and voted on by the House of Assembly.
He says a budget needs to be put before the people of Newfoundland and Labrador. Crosbie calls it Furey’s campaign document and he wants to know what he intends to do with the province’s massive expenditure problems while creating jobs, hope, and a vibrant economy.
Meanwhile, NDP Leader Alison Coffin, who previously indicated she would not support another interim supply bill, will offer further comment on the matter later today.
