Towns and cities across the province are looking for workers for the upcoming municipal elections.
As the election day for municipalities rolls around on September 28, only days after the federal election, many municipalities are in need of workers.
Brian Hudson, the President of the Professional Municipal Administrators and Chief Administrative Officer with the Town of Pasadena says they’re seeing this need across the board, especially since 12 municipalities, in addition to the city of St. John’s, are offering vote by mail options for the first time ever.
Anyone interested in working the elections is encouraged to contact their municipality to get involved.
