Three individuals have been arrested for impaired driving in the past five days in the Bay St. George Area on the west coast of the island.
At 11 p.m. on July 31, RCMP arrested a 58-year-old in Lourdes for driving his ATV while impaired by alcohol.
At 9:30 p.m. on August 2, police stopped a 45-year-old man for erratic driving in Stephenville Crossing.
At 8:30 p.m. on August 4, a 55-year-old woman driving considerably below the posted speed limit on the TCH near Barachois Brook was stopped and found to be impaired.
The three were released to appear in court at a later date, their licenses were suspended, and vehicles were impounded.
