There are no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 being reported in the province today.
There are currently three active cases – one in the Eastern Health region and two in the Central Health region.
The Department of Health is still reminding people who travelled on Air Canada flight AC8006 departing Toronto to St. John’s on Thursday, July 16, to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 and call 811 to get tested.
These orders are in relation to Friday’s update, which revealed that a young woman was symptomatic while returning to the province from Southeast Asia.
Government says the risk is low.
To date, 23,361 people have been tested.
